SE Humour >> The SE Spam Code

Parties involved: Searcher, Search Engines, Advertisers, Spammers, Organic Site Owners/ SEO’s.

Searchers: Spend more time and internet bandwidth to reach relevant results to satisfy his/her search need. Looses money in terms of loss of time and related costs. (Like Email spam).

Search Engines: No longer has to worry for market share and happy with what they have. They use Spam sites and irrelevant organic results to their benefit.

Advertisers: Pay money to Search Engines to receive related traffic. Spam Sites in organic results give way to Advertisers to rely more on them (Paid Listings) and redirect organic traffic to Sponsored results.

Spammers: Do not loose anything in this ordeal as they work on a hit and trial basis. They are illegal and short-lived.

Organic site Owners/ SEO firms: Clearly a looser as they compete for a small market share with the Sponsered Results on Search Engines. As Search Engines defy their own ground rules for SEO, the ethical site owners and SEO community looses out on all fronts as their sites never make it to the top of the organic listings and no longer generate relevant traffic. Since they do not pay to Search Engines for traffic, so they don't receive any traffic.
